Hey everyone, lemmingllama here. Today we’ll be starting to look at the 8.3 update. This one will have a lot of preparation work in the back end for a large feature we’ll have coming in the future, but also will be focused on some smaller quality of life improvements and touch-ups of existing content. Let’s get into it!
To start, we’ll be adding a couple new options to help speed up normal actions of play. For perks, we’ve received feedback that players want ways to quickly activate all their perks so they can start progressing. We’ll have a new toggle on the Perk panel that will allow you to activate all stacks of perks you can with your perk tickets in one press, which should help speed up using perks.
Similarly, we’ve also received a lot of feedback about wanting to more quickly go through Critter Haven. In addition to the existing Fast Mode toggle, we’re adding a new Random Pick toggle that will automatically collect pet food randomly from Critter Haven. While this will not always be as efficient as manually collecting, it should be a way to quickly use all your Pet Tokens and focus on playing other aspects of the game.
Lastly, we’re making some changes to the Tower Trouble quest. With the current design, we’ve found that a couple players in a clan tend to do a lot of prestiges and ascend quickly up the tower, which can make it harder for other members of the clan to reach the same heights. We’re making some changes to the Tower to make it more collaborative for the entire clan. When a player prestiges, it’ll now grant a Tower Key to all players in the clan, allowing everyone to more easily ascend upwards and try to reach the top. Since this would result in all clan mates having far more keys, we’re also lowering the daily prestige limit to collect all your Tower Keys, which should help reduce the burden on individual members and instead have it spread out more among your entire clan. This will help the entire clan work together and try to reach the top for the rewards!
